Things have been quiet on the holistic reporting blog for the last couple of weeks. But there’s a good reason why. I’ve been putting my money where my mouth is, got my head down and developed a Sustainability Performance Management (SPM) application for Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) called Holostx.
Holostx is an online app that lets you manage your own sustainability indicators, link them to KPIs and activity evidence and integrate an assurance process to validate your efforts. But what’s even cooler – particularly for time and resource constrained SMEs – is that Holostx automatically generates a comprehensive online CSR Report from your data. So you can simply link to this from your existing corporate website.
Holostx is already being used as part of a limited beta program with some local SMEs that want to step their sustainability reporting up a gear. I’m offering use of Holostx for free for as long as it takes to create and publish your first online CSR Report from your Holostx data. Then the app will be offered on a low-cost monthly subscription basis.
If you setup your Holostx indicators to reflect the GRI standard then the system will also automatically generate an online GRI Index Report from your data. Holostx also generates a Big 4 impact statement and a new kind of sustainability momentum report that creates a sustainability index from your efforts and creates the first of the new kind of Holistic reports that this blog evangelizes.
A carbon ledger module is also available for Holostx that allows SMEs to collect more detailed data about their carbon emissions and generate multi-level footprint reports – if they want to that is. Ideal preparation for carbon regulation (like the UK’s CRC) when it starts to embrace a wider range of businesses than just the larger enterprises
No need to wait until 2010 for Holistic Reporting – Holostx is here now.
