I have now added supply chain auditing to Holostx so that you can audit your key suppliers and automatically generate a supply chain audit section as part of your overall online CSR/Sustainability report.
Supply chain auditing (SCA) is not just for the Wal-Marts and Marks & Spencer’s of this world. Many SMEs would like to check that their key suppliers are following a similar sustainable business agenda to themselves. But executing SCA is not easy and typically not intergated with thier own internal sustainability reporting. Holostx changes all that.
The app now has a supplier user role, SCA indicators and a specific SCA section of the CSR Report that is automatically generated for you. Not only that the new supplier role means that you don’t have to collect and enter the data yourself – your suppliers can ‘self-serve’ their own data so they know exactly what your SCA report section will say about their sustainability performance and you don’t have to collect the data yourself.
If you are an SME we don’t recommend you go overboard with SCA. Just pick a handful of key suppliers and set up a realistic number of indicators (e.g. 5-10) so that your selection reflects the business you are in and the interaction you have with your key suppliers. That way your stakeholders get useful insight into your supply chain but aren’t overwhelmed with detail.
